This Shelby Cobra is 8.5"Lx 3.5"Wx 2.5"H die cast metal car with openable doors, hood and trunk. Mounted on a display platform. Individually packed in a window box. Box size: 12.75"Lx 5.75"Wx 5"H. 42707 in BLUE color.
     
    The Shelby registry indicates only two 1966 "Super Snake" Cobras were built. One car was destroyed in an accident, leaving a sole surviving car. January 13, 2007 it sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction for 5.5 million dollars, making it the most expensive American car ever sold. The "Super Snake" has a twin supercharged 427 cid 800 hp engine, with a 3 speed automatic. Caroll Shelby built it just to see how fast it was, and it turned out to be a monster with incredible performance and speeds. It was Caroll Shelby's personal automobile. "40 years later, it will still kick the tail of just about anything in the world. It was the fastest street legal Cobra I ever owned."
