AMM1052 Auto World ERTL American Muscle - 1971 Plymouth Duster 340 Hard Top. 1:18 scale diecast collectible model car. This Plymouth is a 10.5"L x 4"W x 3"H heavyweight die-cast metal car with openable hood, doors and trunk, FC7 Violet Metallic Exterior, steerable front wheels, detailed engine, accurate interior and chassis. This '71 Plymouth Duster is manufactured by Auto World. Individually packed in a window box. Box size: 13.25"Lx 6.1"Wx 5"H. AMM1051 is in PURPLE color with black roof and hood. 

The Duster was introduced in 1970 as a 2-door semi-fastback version of the Plymouth Valiant to compete with the Chevy® Nova™ and the Ford Maverick. It was a huge success for Plymouth. In 1971, the Plymouth Duster lost its affiliation with the Vailant brand name and became its own separate brand. This die-cast replica features many of the popular options available in 1971. The blacked out hood was available in other model years, but only 1971 could have the factory installed 340 Wedge hood decal. Behind the "shark tooth” grill, a distinct characteristic of 1971 and 1972, lives the optional 340 cu. in. 4bbl 5.6L V8
