This Belly Tanker is an 8.5"L x 3.75"W x 2"H die-cast metal car with removable hood, free wheels and workable steering. Highly detailed engine and components. Limited Edition to 456 pcs. This 1948 Tanker is manufactured by ACME. Box size is 10.5"L x 8"W x 4"H. Item 1803004 is in GOLD color with white.

The So-Cal Speed Shop team took this lakester to El Mirage Dry Lake in 1948 and proceeded to set a streamliner class record! This experience was invaluable in regards to fine tuning the tanker before going to Bonneville. Over the next several years, the So-Cal Tanker would go on to set numerous land speed records at Bonneville and would be named the "Most Honored Car in the History of Bonneville".
